We’re very excited to announce the World Premiere of “Remembering Us” will be at the 40th Annual Breckenridge Film Festival. The festival that brought the world “Shawshank Redemption” and “L.A. Confidential” will now premiere our latest film about a family dealing with a traumatic brain injury and the decision to turn to medical cannabis to treat the symptoms.

“We are so thrilled that Wine Dog Pictures is giving us the opportunity to showcase this powerful film,” said programming director Dianna Nilsson. “We were immediately taken by the original story, the powerful performances and the poignant filmmaking. We know our fans will love watching this film.”

Breck Film will be a hybrid festival this fall with half of the screenings at a drive-in and the other half online, starting October 3. USA Today consistently rates it as one of the Top 20 North American Festivals.

In other news, ProductionHUB, featured fellow contributor Brian De Herrera-Schnering of Pinto Pictures in their mid summer blog. Brian talked to Alicia East about tips and tricks for the COVID-era colorist.

Be sure to tune into Nickelodeon on August 15 to see frequent Wine Dog actor Mike Ostroski appearing in yet another COVID-era Zoom episode of “Danger Force.” Mike previously filmed a quarantine episode this Spring, playing the fan-favorite, super villain Dr. Minyak.

And Wine Dog’s Scott Takeda is donning the judge’s robe again to shoot additional episodes of ABC’s “General Hospital.” Back in March, Takeda was in the middle of shooting a seven-episode arc when ABC/Disney shut down the studio because LA enforced stay-at-home orders. The show has been in reruns since May, but with relaxed restrictions, filming is back on. Takeda recurs on the show as Judge Richard Lowe.
