Two quick updates. First, we’re popping the bubbly again because a Lori Kay Allred script is again an official selection at the Milledgeville Film Festival. This year, “Learn As You Go” was named one of eight finalists in the short script competition. This is the fourth year, she’s been honored by Milledgeville and the third straight year she’s had a script make finalist.

“We’re all so proud of Lori,” said Wine Dog producer Scott Takeda. “Milledgeville is an extremely competitive film festival, regularly getting international entries, and panelists from major networks and Academy Award-winning films. Her streak of official selections and awards is impressive.”

Yea Lori!

Our second update is announcing that we’re partnering up with Emmy-award winning colorist Brian DeHerrera-Schnering of Pinto Pictures to do final color on our latest film “Remembering Us.” We’ve been long-time fans of Brian’s work both on the commercial side (Best Buy, Starbucks, Dominos) as well as his film work which includes the music documentary “Enormous: The Gorge Story” – now at Oscar-qualifying festivals like Santa Barbara and Seattle.

“Hallelujah!” said Wine Dog director Lori Kay Allred. “Many thanks for Brian for jumping in and joining our creative team at the last minute. He’s in such huge demand, that we weren’t sure if he’d even be available. I am so excited to be able to collaborate with him!”
